Lilly Sunglasses

Lilly Pulitzer has recently introduced a new sunglass line. I usually wear the Ray Ban Wayfarers but I may pick up a pair of these. She has tons of different styles and they are so cute. Alot of them resemble glasses of Kate Spade. Anyway, be sure to click the link to see more styles!

Cheers to a wonderful weekend!
I enjoyed the races in Camden and hope y'all had a weekend full of fun as well. I have decided that I would take today to talk a bit about myself.

1) Yes, I know you are wondering... my real name is Edith. It is a family name. Needless to say, I have been going by Edie for as long as I can remember.
2) I live on the East Coast. More specifically, in the South East (take notice of my use of y'all)
3)I live with my black ladorador retriever, Bailey. She and I were recently esorted out of obidience school...
4)I am obsessed with lists. I make atleasts five to-do lists everyday. Some are broad and some are not.
5) I love grapefruit. Plain or with a splash of vodka.
6) I just graduated from a large SEC school with a degree in Communications....I am currently a pharmaceutical sales rep. Go Figure!
7) I have no tattoos or piercings. Except for my ears, which I did not have done until I was 18!
8) I love to spend my time on the water. Boating, fishing, water skiing etc.
9) In my free time I run and I write. (I have a minor in English as well) I have just started this blog as something to put my time into, but I am also working on a book. a memoir really. about my mother.
10) I love music. Beach music, classic rock and southern rock mostly...
11) I love the beach! I vacation in the Carolinas: DeBordieu, Kiawah, and Duck
12) Navy and white are my favorite colors
13)I love chandeliers and houndstooth
14) I have lived in Illinois, Connecticut, Arkansas, Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama.
I lived in Illinois for 18 months and in Connecticut for about a year.

16) I love lilly pulitzer. her books are on every coffee and side table in my house.
17) I made some of my best friends in my sorority in college
18) I have recently learned that what looks good on paper, does not always work out best in life.
19) I have had a subscription to coastal living and southern living since going off to college.
20) I am 22 and have had my heart broken once. But since mother said not to air your dirty laundry in public, I will keep that story to myself...
21) I wear Ray Bans. Yes, Ray Ban WayFarer II sunglasses. They are classics, what can I say?
22) I recently got a Volvo. I never thought I would be to the age were I ask for a Volvo. I love it!
23) I wish i were a better cook :(
24) I am blonde. Once, when I thirteen, I decided I wanted to be brunette. My mother cried when I came home from the salon. cried for days. she is a trip, truly.
25) I admire people the most who follow their dreams. It is easier said than done.

The Cup

There are hundreds of things I would like to make my first post about; however, being March 28th, only on thing is really on my mind. The Carolina Cup. Yes, friends, it is that time of year where we all put on our spring dresses and big hats and head for Camden, South Carolina.

If you are still living under a rock, allow me to enlighten you. The Carolina Cup is only the most time honored tradition in South Carolina. It is, first and foremost, a day filled with horses, racing to win the title of Carolina Cup Steeplechase Race winner. However, socializing, tailgating, people watching and drinking are also activities which take place during the course of the day. It is a great place to show off the newest hat or Southern Proper bow-tie you received for Easter.
